The local participated in the re-centralizing and activation of the Executive Council of The EWF Inc. Newly established locals from New York, Connecticut, Dominica, Martinique, along with Paris, London and the Birmingham locals, convened the first of a number of meetings with the aim of re-establishing the International HQ of The EWF Inc., in New York.

Revoked charters Following efforts made by the office of the International Organizer and other officers since 2005 to identify all active units. The following previously chartered locals of the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated are hereby declared revoked by the Executive Council on this day June 20th 2011. Below is a list of names and numbers of local charters to be revoked: Haile Selassie Local 1 Incorporated; Melchezedek Local 2 Incorporated; Melenik 2nd Local 4; Zionites Local 29 Incorporated; Abyssinia Local 30; Local 35; Local 77 Incorporated; Caribbean Children local 360; Local 317; Medhai Safari Local 49; Jah Seed Local 6; Local 7 Incorporated; Alula Abba Negus Local 9; Local 12 Incorporated; Local 11; Local 21; Local 22; Ark of Miriam Local31; Local 23 Incorporated; Local 25 Incorporated; Lij Tafai Local 28, Conquering Lion Local 14; St Tecklahamanot Local 15; Yekumo Amlak Local 16; Exodus Thrust Local 17; Local 18 Incorporated; Children of Melchezedek Local 19; Kings Chamber Local 20; Empress Taitu Local 43 Incorporated; Lion of Judah Local 33; Further we have been directed by the United States Internal Revenue Service; that no group who are registered as a separate organisation/company from the 1937 Incorporation should enjoy or utilise the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated tax-exempt status. Any such group should meet as a group make a collective and minuted decision to dissolve their company. A Commissioner of Oaths or an Attorney at Law should witness this action. Following this action please contact the registered office to gain the legal authority to operate. .Any group or individual continuing to solicit funds in the name of the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated in any form including WEBSITES not in line with United States Internal Revenue Service directives will face legal action. Any individual or group who wish to continue to act in the name of the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated should contact the registered office of the Ethiopian World Federation Incorporated immediately.
