The EWF Local 111 has always prided itself in being at the forefront of organising its own cultural and leisure events within the city of Birmingham and beyond.

Nov 1982 - Muntz St - Haile Selassie 1 Coronation.
Nov 2nd 1985 - Digbeth Civic Hall. Khaki and Rosetta Haile Selassie 1 Coronation
Nov 2nd 1986 - Oaklands - Haile Selassie 1 Coronation
July 23rd 1987 Hummingbird Jah Light Celebration - Haile Selassie 1 Birthday

March 2nd 1996 - Adds Ababa 100 years celebration of Adowa Victory.

Dahina Dimts (Adults Choir)

The choir toured U.K and Europe entertaining cultural shows and meetings.

Dahina Dimts drummers went on tour to Austria 1994 along with Reggae band Noah House of Dread.

African Troupe performed at various events and venues.

1987 to 1992
The youths performed at various schools and culture shows in Birmingham, London and Cardiff. The Local regularly keeps children parties to celebrate official holidays.
